Type or paste in either a code point (such as 0061) or a single character (such as A or Θ). Click Find to produce a chart containing that character. Clicking on the right or left arrows gets the next or previous chart. Picking the block sets the current character to the start of the block, and outlines characters in the block.
The characters cells are colored by type, as shown here. The characters you actually see are limited by the fonts you have. For more information, see Display Problems.
If you try to show large charts, the browser might think the script is hung -- just tell it to continue. FireFox 1.0.6 has a particularly confusing dialog box: it asks if you want to abort, with possible answers being OK (=Yes) and Cancel (=No).
